- The threshold for the number of inhabitants in a region has dropped to 20,000.
- For Signatories of both the EU Missions Adaptation to Climate Change and Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities, the programme will be adapted to support their ongoing processes.
- The next cut-off for the review of applications will be 31st March 2024.
Feedback from regions already supported includes praise for the adaptability of the assistance to regions' needs; commends the support being delivered in the national language; and acknowledges the delivery team's expertise and quick response times.
