The European Commission joins the Pact and pledges to become climate neutral by 2030

The European Commission – an organisation of 32,000 people with offices in every EU country – marked Earth Day 2022 with a Climate Pact pledge to become climate neutral by 2030. To achieve its goal, the Commission will make buildings more efficient, start generating its own green energy through photovoltaic panels and solar water heating, get smart about work-related travel, and green its IT infrastructure.
