Learn Greek, the green way

date:  30/11/2021

Greek and Green – an educational business that teaches Greek worldwide through environmental projects – has joined the European Climate Pact. It aims to raise awareness of zero waste living among its language students through virtual and outdoor experiences, like beach and park cleaning.

The company is also committing to use 100% renewable energy within the next five years – including generating their own solar power – as well as pledging to plant 5,000 trees by 2026. Their headquarters in Nea Moudania, Greece, will now double up as a zero-waste educational centre, and they have pledged to work with universities and teachers to make positive environmental impacts in schools and communities across Europe.
