Call for proposals to support ecosystem based solutions to aquatic pollution

This Horizon Europe call supports nature positive, cross sector solutions to address aquatic pollution and biodiversity loss from source to sea. Pollution from land based sources, including agricultural runoff, urban wastewater and industrial discharge, continues to degrade freshwater and marine ecosystems across Europe. The Black Sea is particularly affected, with inputs from major river systems such as the Danube, Dnieper and Don driving eutrophication and biodiversity decline. OCEAN 02 seeks ecosystem based approaches that reduce these pressures and restore connected freshwater and marine habitats. The expected deadline is 23 September 2026.
