We are pleased to announce that the Info Day for our 2023 Call will take place on 26 January.

The Programme Review 2022 is looking at the activities and results of the Clean Hydrogen JU and how they align with the strategy and objectives set out in its founding Regulation and further elaborated in the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) for 2021-2027.

As 2022 is approaching its end, and we start looking at the year to come, it’s good to stop for a minute and acknowledge the remarkable changes – and challenges - that this year has brought for Europe and for its energy systems and to look at what the Clean Hydrogen JU has achieved in its first year.

The JIVE Project is organising a hydrogen bus roadshow in Central and Eastern European countries, which takes place throughout the end of 2022 and ibeginning of 2023.

The European Commission announced on 18 May 2022, in its communication “REPowerEU Plan”, an additional investment of €200 million available for the Clean Hydrogen Partnership through the Horizon Europe Programme. The funds will help double the number of Hydrogen Valleys in Europe and aim to accelerate the implementation of the hydrogen economy across the EU.

The 1st Call for Proposals for Clean Aviation has been launched! The list of topics and topic descriptions are currently available via the JU's website.

Projects worth €390 million, against €234 million funding, are expected to be funded under the Europe’s Rail 2022-1 Call for Proposals for Research & Innovation activities, within the framework of the Europe’s Rail Annual Work Programme 2022-2024.

The Governing Board of the Clean Hydrogen JU adopted on Friday, 25 February, the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) for the period 2021-2027 of the JU and its first Annual Work Programme (AWP) for 2022.

The Clean Hydrogen Partnership is launching the biggest hydrogen research call in the history of Europe – €300.5 million will be made available for proposed projects in an unprecedented drive to support the creation of cutting-edge hydrogen technologies.
