The Commission proposes to develop a REPowerEU plan that will increase the resilience of the EU-wide energy system based on two pillars: Diversifying gas supplies, via higher Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and pipeline imports from non-Russian suppliers, and larger volumes of biomethane and renewable hydrogen production and imports; and, reducing faster the use of fossil fuels in our homes, buildings, industry, and power system, by boosting energy efficiency, increasing renewables and electrification, and addressing infrastructure bottlenecks.
SIAD Macchine Impianti (SIAD MI) has produced a hydrogen compressor for a large-scale, multi-megawatt, high-temperature electrolyzer. The SIAD compressor will be integrated in the hydrogen processing unit, designed and manufactured by Paul Wurth in the frame of the MULTIPLHY project.
Project StasHH has hit a major milestone by setting the first ever standard for fuel cell modules for heavy-duty applications. This standard aims to globally impact the uniform development of fuel cell modules by setting clear rules regarding physical dimensions and physical and digital interfaces.
