As 2021 draws to a close and the holiday season approaches, the CEF Digital team is wrapping up its final Christmas CEF Building Blocks Bulletin.
CEF Digital is coming to an end. The Building Blocks will endure, and we will continue to support the digital transformation of Europe through a new funding Programme, DIGITAL. Our website, ec.europa.eu/cefdigital will no longer be updated, and in January 2022, we will move to a new website. This is the last CEF Newsletter you will receive. Our email address, CEF-BUILDING-BLOCKS@ec.europa.eu, will soon be decommissioned.
From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to take this moment to thank you for your continued support for the CEF Digital programme and its Building Blocks over the years.
Now more than ever is the opportune time to look back on our achievements and consider the outstanding successes of the CEF Building Blocks in achieving the EU’s digital goals of the last decade, be it eIDAS, electronic procurement to multilingualism online, and setting the scene for what President von der Leyen so notably called our coming “Digital Decade”. Between 2015 and 2020, we achieved a 2067% increase in adoption across the Building Blocks. Our average satisfaction score has been an impressive 9.1/10*.
None of this would have been possible without you.
