The launch of the Competence Centre on Participatory and Deliberative Democracy features practitioners and policymakers to get their take on how the competence centre will help strengthen citizen engagement and advance participatory and deliberative democracy across the Commission, other EU Institutions, and EU countries' regions. We will provide an overview of the Competence Centre’s tools, resources and projects including guidance on citizen engagement and a new website which hosts databases of organisations and projects across Europe. 

The launch will be followed by an open networking session for practitioners, policymakers and researchers in the field, from 12.00 PM.
