The European Commission has launched a public consultation to gather citizens’ views on ways to step up climate action and further cut greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. The consultation aims to collect opinions on the desired level of ambition of climate and energy policies, necessary actions in different sectors and specific policy design to increase climate ambition by 2030. It also aims to gather further information, including roadmaps, policy briefs and studies relevant for deeper greenhouse gas emission reductions.
