A new Horizon 2020 project, DESIRA, has been launched, aiming to respond to the challenges and opportunities that digitalisation generates in rural areas, agriculture and forestry sectors.

DESIRA (Digitisation: Economic and Social Impacts on Rural Areas) will create the EU Rural Digitisation Forum, an open EU-wide community for interested stakeholders to learn and share knowledge about the digitalisation of agriculture, forestry and rural areas.
