Letter to the Community

Dear community, As we close the first year of the activities of the Rural Pact Support Office, we would like to wish you a very happy holiday season! This remarkable year, filled with webinars, policy labs and a prestigious high-level rural policy forum in Sigüenza (Spain), has seen our community grow to 2 150 members, with an impressive 121 commitments to the Pact. The new Rural Pact Community Platform has become a reference point for networking, information sharing and collaboration. It hosts valuable information and resources, including our first policy briefing, the Rural Vision magazine and 40 inspiring good practices. It is already home to six community groups, driven by your enthusiasm for generating spaces for exchange and knowledge sharing to make rural areas thrive. This year has also seen the establishment of the Rural Pact Coordination Group, chaired by Radim Sršeň and Edina Ocsko, bringing depth and direction to our collaboration. As we look ahead to the second year, our intention is to make it as inspiring and fruitful as the first one. May the festive season bring warmth and joy. All the best, The Rural Vision team
