A new interactive app has been created to follow the volume of European imports of tomatoes from Morocco. Based on Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union surveillance data, and updated daily automatically, it is also completed, within the period from October to May, with weekly notifications from Morocco, and compared with COMEXT data. Historical series from 2011 are available (daily, weekly and monthly). This app replaces the bimonthly publication of the “Tomato report” during the October-May campaign.

The Tomato Trade app has also been enhanced with four new tabs, three on imports and one on exports. This information was previously published in the discontinued bimonthly “Tomato report” during the October-May campaign. Based on Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union data and automatically updated daily, these new tabs allow to give an overview of the situation for the most recent dates. Historical series since 2011 are available as well.
