A new call for research projects launched by the ‘Bioeconomy in the North’ network will provide € 5.5 million to actions dealing with forest biomass production, lignocellulosic biomass conversion and valorisation, and governance strategies and policy instruments.

The call is open to applicants from Germany, Finland and Norway and closes on 17 January 2019. The network brings together ministries and funding agencies from these countries and launches annual Research & Innovation calls for projects in non-food/non-feed biomass resource exploitation.
