The Interreg Central Europe project “Peripheral Access” tackled the lack of connectivity and accessibility in three types of ‘peripheral’ regions: urban hinterland, rural and cross-border areas and analysed this situation in different regional contexts.

The project's evaluation report is accessible here above.

The report analyses the results of the project, throughout which the nine partners involved set up specific actions in local transport systems with the objective of improving regional structures.

The policy recommendations drawn from "Peripheral Access" offer interesting insights to implement innovative solutions to boost transport projects in peripheral and cross-border areas.
