The Association of European Border Regions (AEBR) and the Ministry of Finances and Europe of Saarland organised a workshop on the applicability of the European Cross-Border Mechanism (ECBM) in the Greater Region. The event will be held on the 5th of April 2019 in Saarbrucken with title “Overcoming Cross-Border Obstacles. A new Landscape for Cross-Border Cooperation (a b-solutions Activity)”.

A panel of experts will assess the applicability of the European Cross-Border Mechanism to obstacles investigated in the Greater Region. On this occasion, AEBR will present the pilot initiative b-solutions, under which a call for proposals to find solution to concrete obstacles to cross-border cooperation is currently open.

The purpose of the event is to introduce the innovative policy proposed by the European Commission for the upcoming period to stakeholders in the region, as well as present available opportunities.
