Europe Direct Minho (Portugal) invites all the stakeholders to assist the online event "Dialogue with the Citizens" today, at 4.30pm (CET).

“Multilateralism and Euroregions: what future?” it is the motto of this online dialogue, wich aims to give citizens the opportunity to interact with personalities from local and European authorities. The main goal of this activity is to understand what should be the role of euroregions in the future of Europe and how cross-border regions have benefited from the creation of synergies to enhance local economic development - the case of Euroregion Galicia-North of Portugal.

Ricardo Ferreira, Border Focal Point Coordinator from DG-REGIO (European Commission); Ricardo Rio (Mayor of Braga - PORTUGAL); and Lara Méndez (Mayor of Lugo - SPAIN) will be the spokespersons of this activity. Paulo Monteiro (CEO of Antena Minho & Correio do Minho - local media) will be the moderator of the event.

The session will be streamed live through CIED Minho's Facebook. Stakeholders can participate in the debate by sharing ideas and questions about this topic, reporting via chat, so that they can be answered by the speakers.

This event is an initiative of Europe Direct Minho and organised in partnership with Europe Direct Lugo (SPAIN), Rádio Antena Minho, and the newspaper Correio do Minho.

Working language: Portuguese, Spanish and Galician.
