This study aims at analysing the process of acceleration of cross-border cooperation beetween Sweden and Norway and the impact of the Interreg A programme on this cooperation. The impact is analysed according with five dimensions : Institutional-urban; accessibility; culture-social; environmental-heritage; economy-technology. The study deals with the sucessive results of the Interreg programme, and analyses seven projects in the Inner Scandinavian sub-programme so to evaluate the barrier effect of the border.

Thanks for sharing some of these very influential articles from Prof. Medeiros. In this case, the analysis of Swedish-Norwegian CBC equipped him with sound knowledge to compare this border with the Spanish-Portuguese one, his earlier focus. It has always been very interesting to read and discuss his conclusions and recommendations, as well as organizing some debates around them. We are particularly following (and promoting, when possible) his proposals on Cross-Border Impact Assessment.
