This thesis aims at defining the obstacles to cross-border knowledge interactions and the perception of such interactions in the field of small-sized health business firms in the Southern-Denmark – Northern Schleswig-Holstein region. Knowledge interactions are facilitated by functionnal and cognitive proximity.
