The b-solutions call for pilot projects to resolve border obstacles has been closed for a couple of weeks.  36 applications were received by the fund managers - the Association of European Border Regions.

The assessment and selection process is now underway - it is too early to communicate anything at this stage.

However, we can see that the applications cover the whole range of issues that were on offer and - very importantly - come from many different cross-border areas across Europe.  This is really pleasing and a good success.

There should be news on the outcome of the selection process by the end of June.
