"WeGovNow will tap into emerging technologies for effectively supporting coproduction by civic society stakeholders and collective proposition development, whereby citizens are partners as opposed to customers in the delivery of public services. By integrating a set of innovative technologies within a unified citizen engagement platform, the project will overcome the current limitations of existing digital tools for citizen reporting, e-participation, and communication between the citizen and the government.'
According to the project overall aim it seems that project results and deliverables ensure a dynamic technology design and development context but there is a methodological reconciliation of historical, national, regional components for each field of application of the new innovative technological approaches. Α failure to take account of the long-lasting co-existence of several factors characterizing the various European national contexts, to name a few, we could refer to communities and citizens different levels of technical literacy and technology ownership, is at odds with the project idea of 'supporting coproduction by civic society stakeholders and collective proposition development'.

Τhe work is sufficiently disseminated and exploited. Better exploited results are thematically correlated with the way the required new citizen patterns will be extracted within the radical shift of the initial research assumptions.

Project's Conceptual & methodological framework consolidation which integrates

the goals of WP1 'to ensure a truly common understanding of the project’s conceptual and methodologically approach across the multi-disciplinary project consortium and is focusing in consolidating the conceptual planning of the overall WeGovNow platform' and WP2 'Theoretical concepts and research methods to be adopted for the purposes of the project will be operationally specified and related guidance for their application by project partners will be developed'
should be placed further within the methodological context of a historically radical shift of the citizen pattern by including the interfering relationship between institutions, citizens, procedures, attitudes and political governance. In such a context, the new e-Gov environment for the European citizen might become a component of a societal revolution in a macro-historical management model of a paradigm shift based on new ontological assumptions and relationships that introduce us to a new world, the world of the digital economy and in the new political environment in an ongoing process of modernity under the weight of strong civil societies.
