Who is involved

Each Partnership is made up of Urban Authorities (cities), the European Commission, EU organisations (European Investment Bank, European Economic and Social Committee, Committee of Regions), Member States, Partner States, experts, umbrella organisations (e.g. EUROCITIES, Council of European Municipalities and Regions), knowledge organisations (e.g. URBACT, ESPON, EUKN) and stakeholders (NGOs, business, etc.).

At the moment the composition of the 12 Partnerships has been finalised and is not open for new members.

If you want to contribute to a Partnership you are more than welcome. This website offers you the possiblity to leave comments, join discussions and take actively part in the consultation of the draft Action Plans of the Partnerships. To be able to actively join you need to register. So you will receive a monthly newsletter which will update you on the latest developments of the Partnerships. Besides this you can receive notifications related to specific Partnership developments by following the Partneships of your choice.

Participation of the members of the Partnerships is voluntary and was open to all those interested, committed and ready to dedicate resources, taking into account the need for balanced composition. All members of the Partnership have been selected on the basis of the extensive experience and expertise they have on the topic.

The Partnerships are composed on average of about 15 to 20 partners and represent different stakeholders from different areas in Europe (balanced composition).
