12th International Conference on High Performance and Embedded Architecture and Compilation
January 23-25, 2017, Stockholm, Sweden
The HiPEAC conference is the premier European forum for experts in computer architecture, programming models, compilers and operating systems for embedded and general-purpose systems. The conference attracts over 600 delegates each year.
Workshops, tutorials, special sessions, poster sessions and an industrial exhibition will run in parallel with the main paper track (ACM-TACO). 'HiPEAC Jobs' will also be on site throughout the conference to help bring together recruiters and skilled computer scientists.
There will be three keynotes speeches:
- Dr Kathryn McKinley, Principal Researcher at Microsoft, on Taking Tail Latency Beyond the Limits of Queuing Theory;
- Professor Sarita Adve of the Siebel Center for Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, on Coherence, Consistency, and Déjà vu: Memory Hierarchies in the Era of Specialization;
- Dr Sandro Gaycken, director of the ESMT Berlin Digital Society Institute, a strategic research institute for digital topics of the German DAX-companies, on Cybersecurity - An unsolvable problem in the way of our IT-futures.
HiPEAC, the European Network of High Performance and Embedded Architecture and Compilation, has received funding from the EU's Horizon 2020 programme under grant agreement no. 687698.
