The European Commission in collaboration with the University of Twente organises a workshop in support of the EC Next Generation Internet initiative.

The NGI workshop will be held in An Enschede (Netherlands) on 6th of July 2017. The purpose of the workshop is to explore opportunities for research, industry and SMEs/start-ups for collaboration within the scope of the NGI initiative.

The purpose of this workshop is to brainstorm novel ideas for innovative research topics in the domain, and to have an open and multidisciplinary discussion of the approach the EC is taking in preparing for the launch.

In addition renowned speakers and a open and multidisciplinary discussion will help the attendees to better understand the current situation of the NGI initiative and participate in debates prioritizing and shaping the future evolution of the NGI.
