The Digital Social Innovation Fair 2018 will take place in Rome (Italy), 6-7 June 2018, kindly hosted by the Municipality of Rome in the magnificent Campidoglio. The event is organized by the Horizon 2020 ChiC project, which provides coordination and support to the growth of the digital social innovation technologies and initiatives in Europe and beyond.

Digital technologies underpin innovation and competitiveness across private and public sectors, being core enablers for the transformation of the European society and services. This has a great potential to help addressing social and sustainability problems and ensuring better citizens protection, inclusion, education and participation. On the other hand, the progressive digitalisation is, to use one of your expressions if I may , deeply "reshaping human reality" and entails serious and challenging ethical challenges. In this respect, we believe your intervention at the DSI Fair 2018 would provide the broad DSI Community a great opportunity to learn about your important studies and work.

The DSI Fair 2018 will offer a rich 2-days program featuring an international conference, focused workshops, networking and hands-on sessions. The line-up of speakers includes experts and practitioners, as well as policy makers and civil society players. Among the  speakers we have Luciano Floridi, Mario Calderini, Monique Morrow, Louis Pouzin, Virginia Dignum and many more.

This event will specifically provide opportunities to discuss how initiatives tackling social and environmental challenges in Europe and beyond are at the core of realising a more secure, trusted, inclusive and participatory society. It will also provide the opportunity to promote how a number of advanced technologies (artificial intelligence, blockchains, decentralised data protection, etc.) and EC-driven initiatives, like the 5MEuro blockhain Prize, can help realising a more secure and trusted society.

The registrations are open and the event is free, but seats are limited www.dsifair.eu.
