With border regions in the back of their mind, on the 7th of December 2017, the Dutch Secretary of State for Infrastructure and Waterways, Stientje van Veldhoven, Flemish Minister of Energy, Bart Tommelein, Walloon Minister for Energy, Jean-Luc Crucke (represented) and Secretary of Energy Luxembourg's State for Sustainable Development and Infrastructure, Camille Gira have signed a Benelux political declaration aimed at making it easier for drivers of electric vehicles to recharge and pay in a neighboring country.
