Innovation Radar Prize 2017 – the Jury

The 20 finalists competing for the Innovation Radar Prize 2017 will get to pitch their innovation at the ICT Proposers Day 2017 in Budapest. They will present the plans to get their innovations out of the lab and into the market to the jury composed of a panel of investors and entrepreneurs.

The "Innovation Radar pitching session" will take place this year on 9th of November at ICT Proposers' Day event in Budapest. 48 of the most promising innovators identified by the Innovation Radar have been competing for the final where they will get the chance to pitch their innovation in front of 4 select jury members. 20 finalists in total (4 from each category) will deliver a 3 minute pitch about their innovation, organisation and future plans to make their EU funded innovation deliver impact in the market place.

The four members of the jury, a panel made of professionals with a track record in entrepreneurship, investment (e.g. Business Angels, or VCs) or experience in start-up accelerator communities are:

Their task is to award the Innovation Radar prize for the most impressive pitch in each of the 5 categories (Industrial & Enabling Tech, Excellent Science, Best Young SME, Tech for Society and Best Early Stage Innovation).One of these 5 category winners will also be awarded the overall 2017 Innovation Radar Prize by the jury.The winners will be announced in the afternoon of the 9th November in a special award ceremony at ICT Proposers' Day.
