At a workshop stakeholders from the French-German border region discussed which needs users have for online information.  The European Commission organised the event jointly with the Eurodistrict PAMINA in Karlsruhe on 25 April. The objective was to gather input for the development of the single digital gateway and to improve the existing Your Europe portal (https://europa.eu/youreurope/index.htm). Your Europe is planned to become the backbone of the single digital gateway. Some 25 Participants from public, private and semi-public organisations in the region discussed at four thematic tables: consumers, health services, personnel/enterprises and work/retirement. These working groups collected and ranked frequent cross-border activities, suggested improvements to the offer on Your Europe and discussed for which activities users’ information needs could be covered by online information and how.
