Strategic event on cross-border health cooperation to be planned in 2nd half 2018

As set out in the Communication on Boosting Growth and Cohesion in EU Border Regions, the European Commission (DG REGIO and DG SANTE) will organise a strategic event in 2018 to highlight good practices of cross-border health cooperation. The event will also explore ways in which this cooperation can be further developed throughout the Union. This event is planned to take place in the 2nd half of 2018. Please let us know if you would be interested to be kept posted about this event, and we will put you on the invitation list.

Dear Karen,

EUREGHA (European Regional and Local Health Authorities) would be very much interested in the event. As a reference network of health authorities, we have collected a number a good practices on cross-border healthcare from our member regions, who are actively working on cross-border in health with many projects.

Therefore, we would be delighted to receive information on the event and be included in the invitation list.

Dear Valentina,

Thank you for your interest in the event. We would certainly be most interested in the presence of EUREGHA. The event will be held in the fourth quarter of this year. We will most likely be sharing more precise information on it, in this platform, before the summer.

Further news on the conference will be published on this platform. It is foreseen for the last quarter of 2018.

In the meantime, the study on existing Cross-Border Cooperation on the Health sector has already been published. You can find it in this post: https://ec.europa.eu/futurium/en/health/building-cooperation-cross-border-healthcare-new-study-published

For organisations establishing CB projects on Health, this may be quite usefull as in includes a toolkit for supporting that process.
