Health Policy in Cross-border cooperation practices: the role of euroregions and their local government members

The aim of the article is to discuss the ability of Euroregions to facilitate cross-border cooperation in the health sector.  It shows that the cooperation rate is low, examining a set of 53 structures. The study relies on empirical datas collected from six Euroregions situated on Sweden–Norway, Hungary–Slovakia and Austria–Germany borders. The article shows the limits of cooperation, and concludes on the movement towards other actors leading health cooperation.
