In cooperation with its member region Lower Austria, EUREGHA has submitted a proposal to create a new Thematic Network on Healthcare in Cross-border Regions in the framework of the EU Health Policy Platform. The EU Health Policy Platform is a collaborative initiative to ease the communication and provide a framework for dialogue between the European Commission and health stakeholders. Every year, three thematic networks are launched within the Health Policy Platform with the aim to promote discussion in specific health fields.
 
The thematic network proposal from Lower Austria and EUREGHA aims to create synergies and build upon the already-existing different tools in order to come up with a Joint statement which can support the European Commission in its exercise of mapping and building cross-border and regional cooperation in healthcare. EUREGHA is proposed to be the leader of the thematic network.

A poll is open on the EU Health Policy Platform for users to vote for their preferred proposal, until 6 December. The European Commission will make the final decision about the 3 new thematic networks for 2019 based on the votes.

We encourage all of you to register on the EU Health Policy Platform and vote for our proposal! 

How to do it?

1. First of all, go to https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/hpf/ and log in by using your ECAS account (EU Login).
2. If you do not possess a EU Login, create one by clicking here, then go back to https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/hpf/
3. Once back on the EU Health Policy Platform, request access to the platform by clicking on the button as shown in the below image

• You will then be asked to fill out a form with your personal data (see below image)
• When asked to insert the "Transparency Registry Number", just write "N/A" 
• Click on "submit" to finish your registration

• You will receive a registration confirmation by e-mail (this might take a couple of days)
• After receiving the confirmation, log in on the EU Health Policy Platform at https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/hpf/ and go here to vote for our Thematic Network (EUREGHA)
