The main purpose of this thesis is to analyse the cross-border spatial strategies in the Greater Region, using the example of Attert (Belgium), Beckerich (Luxembourg), the land of Montmédy (France), the Gaume (Belgium), and the Vosges du Nord-Pfälzerwald Transfrontier Biosphere Reserve.

The author highlights the fact that these strategies are created in territories where proximity relationships can develop. He develops a typology of the different steps that intervene in the construction of a cross-border territorial project, with an Interreg base.
