The Frankfurt (Oder) based EGTC Center of Excellence hosts a panel on “Conditions, Challenges and Perspectives for Cross-Border Cooperation in Europe” at the International Conference “B/ORDERS IN MOTION – Current Challenges and Future Perspectives” in Frankfurt (Oder)-Słubice
On November 15-17 the Viadrina Center B/ORDERS IN MOTION – who is a member of TEIN – is organizing an international conference entitled “B/ORDERS IN MOTION – Current Challenges and Future Perspectives”. The conference takes place at the German-Polish border in the twin city Frankfurt (Oder)-Słubice in the institutions of European University Viadrina and the Collegium Polonicum.
The former EGTC Center of Excellence is hosting a panel on November 17 on “Conditions, Challenges and Perspectives for Cross-Border Cooperation in Europe” from a rather legal perspective. In this context, we would like to invite you to discuss challenges and perspectives of CBC in Europe. The panel brings together distinguished scholars and stakeholders in the ambit of CBC. The panel is hosted by Peter Ulrich and Dr. Marcin Krzymuski.
In general, the conference is open to interested scholars in the fields of B/ORDERS IN MOTION and invites the TEIN members to take part in the conference. There will also be a poster session to present the participant´s research project. The twelve thematic panels are structured along the four key topics:
- Un/Making Borders and Boundaries
- Borderless Labor – Labor across Borders
- Migrating Borders & Boundaries
- Territorial Borders: The Institutionalization of Crossings.
