Our school is dedicated to teaching media literacy thanks to the inspirational people at Centrul pentru Jurnalism Independent - CJI in Bucharest, Romania, who have taught us how important it is to be mediate-literate nowadays. They are our mentors and we thank them for it.
Media Literacy Week in CNAM will comprise a series of activities meant to develop students' skills in this vast field of media literacy in a time when propaganda and fake news are choking us. The activities will range from watching and analyzing TedEx speeches, debating fake news (Should fake news be punished by law?), discussing Brexit, analyzing commercials to discussing children's rights and human rights starting from Dickens' novels or receiving a visit from a journalist working for a national TV station (Mr. Radu Hângănuț). The students will also visit a TV studio in order to get a good grasp of what tv production means.

Both English and French languages will be used, as the activities will unfold during the 5 days of the 11 - 15 March week in the English and French classes  taught by Mrs. Roth-Gross and Mrs. Colțea.
