Faktabaari EDU on faktantarkistuspalvelu Faktabaarin yhdessä mediakasvattajien kanssa toteuttama medialukutaito konsepti kriittisen ajattelun ja osallistumisen puolesta. Eurooppalaisella medialukutaitoviikolla kokoamme aineistojamme kokeilleet 45 suomalaisen EPAS*-koulun historian ja yhteiskuntaopin yläasteen opettajat uuteen Helsingin keskustakirjasto Oodiin vertailemaan kokemuksia, oppimaan uutta ja kehittämään yhdessä Eurooppa-päivänä 9.5. verkostona toteutettavia tapahtumia tulevien äänestäjien ja heidän läheistensä medialukutaidon tueksi ennen EU-vaaleja.

FactBar EDU is a voter literacy consept for critical thinking and participation. It is co-designed by fact-checking service Faktabaari and Finnish media education professionals. During the European media literacy week we gather the 45 Finnish secondary EPAS* school history and social studies teachers that have experimented with the materials to the new Helsinki Central Library Oodi to compare their experiences, share new ideas and develop together a workshop concept(s). The new lesson plans will be carried out in the schools at the 9.5. Europe Day. The objective is to empower critical thinking and participation of the future voters and their loved ones before the EU elections.
