techUK welcomes the opportunity to provide feedback on the Trustworthy AI Assessment List developed by the European Commission’s High-Level Expert Group on AI.

techUK is the largest technology trade association in the UK, representing 850 companies. Collectively they employ approximately 700,000 people, about half of all tech sector jobs in the UK. These companies range from leading FTSE 100 companies to new innovative start-ups. The majority of members are small and medium-sized businesses.

Our response has been formed based on the questions set in the Trustworthy AI Assessment pilot. We look forward to the outcome of the consultation and working with you on the next steps.
