Given that soon the new Commission will come into operation, and new framework program(s) will replace Horizon 2020 - what will be the future of the European AI Alliance and this platform?

In the light of what happened here over the past more than a year, it should well be the interest of the European Commission to not only continue, but strengthen this initiative. And likewise it should be the interest of all stakeholders who have been active here to go on using this arena to have their say. 

I wonder how this first step of bringing forward a European way for AI shall be set forth.

Firstly, Mme von der Leyen pledged to present an AI initiative within her first 100 days.

In other words, this initiative is supposed to exist already, connect the dots.

Secondly, the current deliverables are in poor state of quality in terms of rigidity and adherence to European good practices. That is particularly embarassing as a number of academics appear to be involved. I am sure European Commission staff could fix these shortcomings in time.

I totally support the initiative and believe it should continue.

We have one such initiave in Norway launched by Digital Norway and that platform is also very useful at the national level, contributing to discussions, debates, and some networking for certain initiatives.

I'm supporting this idea.

Do we already know who is the member of commission that has AI as her/his responsibility? Maybe this suggestion should be delivered for her/him ?
