This submission from OpenAI provides feedback to the High-Level Expert Group on AI about how to create a framework for Trustworthy AI, as well as to provide recommendations on the given assessment list for key requirements on technical robustness and safety. Our submission is based on our experience and research in developing and deploying technically robust and safe AI. These recommendations are designed to to support the EU’s development of ethical, secure, and trustworthy AI. Building trust among EU AI actors is a prominent step towards trust in the overall AI ecosystem.
