Self- and Co-Regulation have the potential to strenthen citizens and consumers trust in digital markets without hampering innovation. To unfold this potential for regulatory innovation a legal framework is needed building on the Better Regulation Guidelines and the Principles for Better Self- and Co-Regulation.
