The British bank NatWest does not permit its iPad app to be downloaded outside the UK; so any customer living outside the UK won't have the benefits of using the app. The app is handier than using the website so non-residents become second class customers.  NatWest has chosen to use mobile phone authentication which enforces the UK geographic restriction, rather than the more modern approach of using an authenticator app on a smartphone.
