This document provides the plan for managing the data generated and collected during the project. It covers: a) the handling of research data during and after the project, b) what data will be collected, processed or generated, c) what methodology and standards will be applied, d) whether data will be shared/made open and how and e) how data will be curated and preserved.

Template for data sets is given in appendix section. In Appendix section can be found twenty-five data sets clustered by partners. This data sets are for thirteen different Classification of Statistical Activities domains, such as Environment, Transport, Science etc. This document gives the plan for managing the data generated and collected during the project. Document is well written and easy for reading.

Some general comments on this way of sharing DMPs

These comments are for this DMP at https://ec.europa.eu/futurium/en/content/d61-data-management-plan as well as for the ones at https://ec.europa.eu/futurium/en/content/d63-data-management-framework and https://ec.europa.eu/futurium/en/content/d13-data-management-plan-v1 . I did not see a way to leave such general feedback otherwise.

- I applaud the general initiative to share project deliverables publicly, including DMPs, and encourage everyone to think about the challenges and opportunities here.
- Commenting deadline: I understand that a deadline for taking feedback into account is useful for a given version of a DMP but not why comments are disallowed after that deadline (as can already be seen in https://ec.europa.eu/futurium/en/content/d63-data-management-framework ), especially if DMPs are expected to be updated over the course of the projects.
- File format: PDF is a format that is not very inviting for specific comments (of which I have a good number for each of the three files). Have you considered facilitating web annotation, e.g. by enabling annotation tools like https://hypothes.is/ ?
- Licensing: The licensing of these DMPs (or of the outcomes of these projects more generally) should probably be stated on the corresponding landing pages.
- What about assigning persistent identifiers to these documents?
