Attention all CAPs and Citizen Science/Engagement projects and interested parties: the conference "Citizen Observatories for Water Management" will take place at the Palazzo Labia in Venice 7-9 June 2016.

As you can read in the website of the event (http://www.conwater2016.eu/index.php/en/), hosted by the Autorita di Bacino dei fiumi dell'Alto Adriatico (Water Basin Authority) and in collaboration with the Italian National Broadcaster RAI, the Conference will focus on the potential of Citizen Science in the European water innovation landscape, and in particular in the fields of flood risk management, environmental monitoring and meeting the challenges of the European Water Framework Directive and Flood Directive. The Conference will be an opportunity for actors in the field of science and innovation to exchange experiences on the development, implementation and use of new technologies to bring water-related issues closer to citizens.

There is a call for abstracts, which ends on 4 March 2016. Topics for abstract are very much focused on the Citizens' Observatories concept, but this has clear links to the CAPS concept too, so some of your projects may be interested.
