A significant event took place last week in Brussels. EURACTIV, a renowned European media platform specialised in the online publication of articles focusing on European policymaking, welcomed representatives from Romania and Bulgaria, the European Commission, Parliament, NGOs and industry, in order to discuss about cooperation between Danube regions in the two EU member States.

The participants agreed upon the positive impact CBC has on border regions, with a special reference to the case of Romania and Bulgaria, two countries that had little or no dialogue some years ago, but have now learned how to cooperate, drafting common development strategies and syncronising their priorities.
