The European Commission, Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy, is organising, in cooperation with the Nordic Council of Ministers and the Nordic Council, with the support of the Danish Parliament, the workshop "Boosting Growth and Cohesion in EU Border Regions",

The aim of the workshop is to engage with all border stakeholders on the 10-point Action Plan adopted by the Commission in its Communication "Boosting Growth and Cohesion in EU Border Regions" The workshop will outline and discuss the Communication's findings on persisting legal and administrative obstacles to border interaction. It will also showcase some existing good practices, start a dialogue on the actions foreseen and agree a common roadmap to work together in the coming months and years.

The workshop will gather about 150 participants with hands-on experience of cross-border interaction, including representatives from national, regional and local authorities as well as stakeholders from border regions in North and North-Western Europe.

Simultaneous interpretation is provided from/to English, French and German.
