Chrysi is a data protection legal office in DG DIGIT in the European Commission, focusing especially on the areas of data protection, privacy, IT law and security. She has also been working in the Data Protection Unit of the Council of the European Union. Before joining the European Commission, Chrysi has been working as an independent lawyer/legal consultant in Greece for over 5 years, advising SMEs and large companies on data protection law, privacy and e-commerce. Chrysi is a certified auditor in ISMS, ISO 27001. She has participated as a speaker in various conferences and has several publications in these areas of expertise. She has studied Law and holds an LL.M. in Information Technology Law.
