Grazing time refers to the amount of time for which animals are outdoors on pasture. In the Survey on agricultural production methods it was measured by the number of months for which animals have been grazing on pastures owned, rented or otherwise allocated to the agricultural holding during the reference year. A day is counted as grazing day when the animals were on the grazing area for at minimum 2 hours per day.
