Turkish-Cypriot study group visits ENRD Contact Point

Representatives of Turkish Cypriot central- and local-level bodies visited the ENRD Contact Point on 18 March 2011. The group, which is actively involved in the designing of rural development policy in Northern Cyprus, was in Brussels as part of a Belgian study tour.
ENRD Workshop for new LAGs

Some 300 ‘new’ Local Action Groups attended an ENRD event which provided training on the efficient implementation of Local Development Strategies, and best practice regarding transnational cooperation. The event entitled "LEADER as a driver for Rural Europe: workshop for new Local Action Groups", was held in Brussels, on 19-20 January 2011.

ENRD seminar on Public Goods 10 December 2010

On 10 December 2010 a seminar on “Public goods and Public Intervention in Agriculture” took place in Brussels, in the presence of a wide range of stakeholders at European level. The seminar, organised by the ENRD and chaired by DG AGRI, came at the conclusion of the work of the ENRD Thematic Working Group 3 (TWG3) on “Public goods and public intervention”, whose activities were launched in early 2009.
