Social food projects create ‘public goods’ in the form of social cohesion, public health, territorial development, food sovereignty, farmer livelihoods, learning, innovation, and biodiversity. An online Social Food Atlas collects social food projects around Europe - and is open to new submissions.
The social food Atlas is part of the Social Food Forum, launched by the project Mammamiaaa and Matera - European Capital of Culture 2019 to share good practices about food and sustainability.
