The Polish Rural Network held an international workshop in Warsaw, Poland on 21-22 October 2019 on the topic of Smart Villages - as an effective way to address key challenges in rural areas.
Many rural communities are starting to look for innovative smart solutions to a variety of local challenges and Poland is supporting the concept across its rural areas. The workshop included the presentation of the winning Polish Smart Village competition initiatives organised by the Institute for Rural and Agricultural Development and funded by the Polish Rural Network.
