CAP’s Farm to Fork contributions.
Soil conservation, pesticide protection, organics, and consumer labelling were highlighted during the European Commission’s 2nd annual Farm to Fork conference as being among some of the main areas where CAP can make useful contributions to the Union’s Farm to Fork Strategy’s Action Plan.
The second edition of the annual Farm to Fork conference ‘Building sustainable food systems together’ took place on 14-15 October 2021. The conference’s broad ranging agenda involved a spectrum of stakeholder perspectives on efforts to achieve a global transition to sustainable food systems. It was considered important to invest in dialogue between stakeholders (e.g. through networking) in order to boost perceptions about how the strategy can be achievable on the ground.
