Rural areas are often stereotyped. ‘Agroinfluencers’ help to break down these prejudices by sharing their daily life in rural areas and their work in agriculture on social media.
This is the example of Pilar Pascual, an 18-year-old farmer and agricultural engineering student from Spain. She and her family were living in Shanghai (China) before they decided to move to a rural area in Spain to invest in their own family pistachio plantation. Pilar is passionate about her business and the place she lives in. You can follow her on Instagram and TikTok (@agripilar) sharing her knowledge about agriculture, pistachio farming, and her rural life.
